What is RSS?
Really Simple Syndication (RSS) is a technology that allows you to receive updated news from preferred websites, which are sent directly to the user's news reader. This includes the headlines, summaries and links to the full article on the website.
What are the benefits of using RSS?
RSS is an easy way to be notified about updated content on a website. Instead of having to visit a particular website, RSS will automatically send a notification when the subscribed section has been updated.
How do I access the feeds?
You can access RSS feeds by using free Web-based reader My Yahoo!, or through downloadable software. Most Web browsers, as well as Microsoft Outlook, have built in RSS readers as well. RSS readers allow you to view the service you select in one place and, by automatically retrieving updates, stay current with new content soon after it is published. After setting up your reader, you will be ready to use Summit Materials's RSS feeds. To subscribe to one or more feeds above, follow the instructions for your particular RSS reader.
